All families affected by pediatrics CHDs should be able to share experiences and resources as members of a nationwide peer-to-peer support network
Mended Little Hearts of Evansville is a nonprofit, volunteer-based organization providing hope, help, and healing to heart patients and their families. It is made up of the people it serves – moms, dads, children, and families affected by congenital heart defects – along with medical professionals and community members working with these families.
We host a number of events throughout the year that raise money for our mission AND provides opportunities for families to get together to share.
Mended Little Hearts of Evansville has provided patients and families of children with congenital heart disease many services that directly improve their quality of life.
Celebrating 10 Years!
So many exciting things happening as we are heading into our 10th year for Mended Little Hearts of Evansville. When this chapter was born I had no idea what it would become. My hope was that children who have a congenital heart defect would never feel alone and be able to connect with others just like them.
In celebration of 10 years, my wonderful friend Alisann Shetler Elpers from Captured Studios Photography donated her time and services to make our Mended Little Hearts 10 year anniversary extra special. Follow us on Facebook, and please like and share our kiddos photo’s to recognize one mended little heart at a time! #mlhevv #mlh #rememberourhearts #1in110
Every child with Mended Little Hearts has a story. Read about their individual journeys, and join us in supporting these little heroes!
