Mended Little Hearts will be sponsoring the 13th annual “Little Hearts Hold Big Hopes Walk” on Sunday, May 7, 2023 and we need your support!
Mended Little Hearts, a support program for parents of children with heart defects and heart disease, is dedicated to inspiring hope in those who care for the littlest heart patients of all. Mended Little Hearts offers resources and a caring support network as families find answers and move forward to finding healing and hope.
The life of a family stops being ‘normal’ the moment a congenital heart defect is diagnosed. Dreams, aspirations and day-to-day routines are distorted. Mended Little Hearts strive to help our families get back to feeling ‘normal’ by providing an environment in which other families with similar health concerns are apparent. Their child is just a child again, not just a child with a congenital heart defect.
This is a very worthy cause and the funds raised will help the organization to make and provide care baskets for the children and their families that are hospitalized. Funding will also provide scholarship opportunities to help children attend camps for those with congenital heart disease. We have set goals to bring in speakers for our families to our bi-monthly meetings, as well as host future social events to grow our organization within the community to increase awareness. With your support, we can make these goals come true and help our families to the greatest extent.
Thank you for considering supporting our efforts. If you have any questions or need more information, please contact Julie Stucki at email@example.com.
